Updated key art


Dustwalker is getting close to being ready to release and that means key art. This has been a huge learning curve for me and you can really see the difference between the key art and banners for Frost Bite compared to Dustwalker.  Key art is not a skill you generally think of when it comes to game design but it is extremely important when it comes to marketing indie games. All great games have those distinctive elements you associate with them.  

In general though I have learned a lot about game design since Frost Bite. Dustwalker has a ton of RPG elements that just weren't practical to implement into Frost Bite. There is an inventory where you will be able to pick up and store items for quests. Skills and achievements that you can gain. The quests are considerably more interactive and detailed including interactions with NPC's.
